The Adult Detention Center provides humane treatment for prisoners sentenced for violating Georgia Criminal Code and for those persons who have been arrested for felony and misdemeanor crimes. In addition, the Adult Detention Center is responsible for the inmate county workforce.
The Adult Detention Center also provides fingerprinting services for firearm permit applications, foster parents, employment, fire department and Board of Education.
